Less than one and a half hours drive south of Perth, Geographe is very popular for day trips and short getaways from Perth. The natural beauty of the region's green pastures and rich orchards contrast nicely against the urban buzz of WA's largest regional city, Bunbury.
Blackwood River Valley
Characterised by lush, rolling hills and charming country towns, the Blackwood River Valley is picturesque and full of character. Think Devonshire tea, quaint main streets and antique stores aplenty.
Margaret River Region
Premium wines, picturesque vineyards and breweries, world-class surf and gourmet produce aplenty is all available within an hours' drive in the Margaret River Region.
Clear, crisp air means it's not just the magnificent karri, marri and tingle forests that grow in abundance here. There's over 50 types of fruit and vegetables which a produced in the Southern Forests region too.
In the Great Southern region, dramatic forested cliffs are pounded by the wild Southern Ocean, providing shelter for cosy coves and calm bays. Both rolling pastoral landscapes and WA's highest mountain ranges are home to a rich variety of flora and fauna.
