Geographe Wine Region
The Geographe Wine Region covers the inland towns of Yarloop, Harvey, Collie and Donnybrook, stretching west to the coast and south to Busselton. It was formally established in 1999 and takes its name from the ship of French explorer, Nicholas Baudin, Le Geographe.
Bounded by the curve of Geographe Bay, the region produces excellent Shiraz, fine Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon. It's also becoming known for some alternative varieties, particularly Tempranillo and Nebbiolo.
The Geographe Wine Region is now home to a significant number of wineries with cellar door sales, each offering something unique. Visitors are encouraged to come and meet the people of the region while sampling some truly fine wines.

Note: Wine tastings add to your blood alcohol concentration.
As a guide, within any one hour period, five standard 20ml tastes of wine will put you dangerously close to the legal limit (0.05%).
So either buy a bottle for home, nominate a skipper or catch a bus tour.
