Manjimup Wine Region

Characterised by beautiful rolling farmland and towering karri forests, this small wine region covers the area surrounding the charming country town of Manjimup in the Southern Forests of Australia's South West. But what it lacks in size, it more than makes up for in the diversity of fine wines it has to offer.

Within this region Pinot Noir is widely planted, but its Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are beginning to make a name for themselves. Increasingly popular Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Verdelho wines are also being produced here.

Note: Wine tastings add to your blood alcohol concentration.
As a guide, within any one hour period, five standard 20ml tastes of wine will put you dangerously close to the legal limit (0.05%).
So either buy a bottle for home, nominate a skipper or catch a bus tour.
