Take the Train to WA
One of the most exciting ways to get to Western Australia is by rail. Perth is the western terminus for the legendary Indian Pacific rail service operated by Great Southern Rail, which spans the entire continent from sea to sea.
The three day trip is one of the world's great train journeys, and visitors can board the train in Sydney, Melbourne or Adelaide and travel across the country.
Drive to WA
Connecting WA to the rest of Australia, the Eyre Highway is one of Australia's great road trips. The highway extends from Port Augusta in South Australia across the Nullarbor Plain to Norseman and then down to Esperance. Follow the highway along the coast to Albany and you're in Australia's South West!
