Journey into an ancient underworld and see spectacular limestone and crystal formations that date back to over 350,000 years ago. The Leeuwin-Naturaliste Ridge in the Margaret River Region is dotted with over 150 limestone caves. Eight are open to the public, including Ngilgi, Lake, Mammoth, Jewel and Moondyne caves. There are guided or self-guided tours, which take you along the boardwalks into the beautiful underground cavers. For the more adventurous, you can take a journey by torchlight to explore deeper, hidden pathways.

Climbing, abseiling and skydiving

Abseiling in the region is sure to get the adrenaline pumping. Abseil down 40 metres to the landing at Brides Cave or witness spectacular coastal views when taking on the Wilyabrup Sea Cliffs. For a bird’s eye view of the region, try skydiving or a take a scenic flight.
