RIDE #1 - A DAY OUT OR 3 SHORT RIDES

First Leg: Albany to Middleton Beach
Start at Lawley Park where Stirling Terrace turns into Brunswick Rd, just 500m from Albany's CBD. Take the shared path to the end of Brunswick Road, then follow the Ellen Cove Boardwalk through native bush to Middleton Beach. Take your camera as there are many lookout points and tracks to places of interests such as the Light House Keepers Cottage, bunkers and statues along the way. Second Leg: Middleton Beach to Emu Point
Take the shared path from Middleton Beach to Emu Point. Following the coastline, you can stop for a swim at Middleton Beach, Emu Beach or Emu Point. You'll also pass near wetlands and bird watching areas. Continue on the shared path around Emu Point where you can stop at a cafe or for seafood at the nearby fishing marina. 8 kms return, or continue onto the final third leg.
Third Leg: Emu Point to Lower King bridge
On the way back deviate at Griffiths Street onto the shared path. Continue along Brewster Street, up the “zig-zag” path, onto Lower King Road. Continue until you reach the other side of the bridge and stop for a break or a picnic. 18 kms return or full ride 35kms return.
