ORIGINS MARKET IS SET TO BECOME THE ULTIMATE ONE-STOP DESTINATION FOR FOODIES, FAMILIES AND THE ECO-CONSCIOUS.
Offering the very best local, sustainable produce and artisan products West Australia has to offer, visitors and locals alike will be able to immerse themselves in a community of like-minded makers, creators and growers.
LAUNCHING IN SPRING 2021,ORIGINS MARKET WILL DELIVER A NEW SPACE THAT DOESN’T CURRENTLY EXIST IN WESTERN AUSTRALIA.
Blurring the lines between production and consumption, visitors will get to connect meaningfully with the origins of the produce and products they love - engaging with the farmer, that celebrates Western Australia, it’s produce and its people; mirroring the unique eco-system of the adjacent Wetlands within the Market walls as well as in its ethos. It’s a place for many hands to come together - to create and celebrate.
Origins Market opens in Busselton on 4 November and will be a market unlike anything else seen before in WA. It will celebrate our state’s best produce and be a destination in its own right. Inspiration comes from the Borough Markets in London, the Oxbow Market in Napa, and Barcelona’s Mercado de La Boqueria - but its focus is 100% local.
Origins Market will feature fresh produce, a roastery, bakery, patisserie, florist, seafood purveyors, butchery, wine hub, condiments, dairy, health foods, artisan products, eateries, food trucks, a microbrewery, and distilleries – all celebrating the best of WA.
Most vendors are now locked in but there is still some space available for West Australian poultry, egg, dairy, certified organic or deli-style product producers, quality artisans and a florist looking to grow their audience and engage with likeminded local producers. Origins Market will support vendors with a comprehensive national marketing campaign, staffing solutions, and fit-out.
Origins’ location in Busselton’s Power Centre development ensures foot traffic of 25,000 per week and when Jetstar commences flights from Melbourne, Busselton will truly be the gateway to the South West.
