Our small 8 acre vineyard on the pristine south coast of Albany was planted on the family farm in 1998 with the help of family and friends and has been certified organic since 2005. The regenerative farming techniques we adopt avoid the use of synthetic chemicals, instead relying on natural systems that drive carbon from the atmosphere into the soil. This increases soil biodiversity, fertility, water retention and produces nutrient-rich crops. It also lowers our carbon footprint enormously.
A combination of mild summers - which allow the grapes to ripen slowly and develop intense flavours, hand-picking and meticulous wine making by Rob Diletti (2014 Australian Wine Maker of the Year), has culminated in a five-star rating by James Halliday and numerous awards.
There are a variety of tasting experiences in our rustic tasting room. Wine Flights showcase five of our wines paired with local cheeses and other fresh, seasonal produce. The Trilogy is a seated tasting of three of our wines. The Silver Service Wine Flight celebrates local seafood paired to our wines with our finest linen, silverware and vintage wine glasses.
All tastings are seated, and you will be guided by owners Pam and Murray and hear about the transformation of a beef cattle farm to a diverse organic farm with edible gardens and orchards sprawling in all directions.
You are welcome to BYO dog and picnic.
