Delight in the breathtaking beauty of the Walpole and Nornalup Inlets Marine Park from the comfort and privacy of your own superbly appointed Houseboat.
The inlets are fed by the Southern Ocean and the beautiful, pristine Frankland and Deep Rivers meandering through awe inspiring, majestic Karri, Jarrah and Tingle forests thrusting up from the waters edge.
A haven for nature lovers and anglers, the inlets abound with many popular angling species such as King George whiting and the prized Black Bream.
There can be no better way of absorbing the atmosphere of this paradise than from the mobile privacy and solitude of a houseboat, affording total independence to explore and enjoy this idyllic setting.
10 minute drive to Thurlby Herb Farm
20 minute drive to Mount Frankland
Cruise to Sealers Cove and take a 30 minute walk through magnificent grassy dunes to the Circus Beach.
Dinghy ride up the Frankland River for a picnic at Monastary Landing. With the tall trees lapping at the waters edge as you pass by.
On boarding your houseboat, you will be given 'hands on' instruction familiarising you with all you need to know regarding its handling and all other necessary procedures. A Recreational Skippers Ticket is an advantage, but a motor vehicle drivers licence is all that is required.
Each houseboat is luxuriously appointed with all the comforts of home plus an upper deck for outdoor relaxation. The motorised dinghy will enhance the adventure and allow access to the upper reaches of the unique and tranquil waterways of the Frankland and Deep Rivers.
Facilities
Cruise-Away has frequently been called the honeymoon boat, as many a newly wed couple have enjoyed the peace and tranquillity of the inlet system aboard her.
Cruise-Away has also been enjoyed by many young families during the years she has been in service. Each boat has a visitors journal from which you can read of the many exciting and funny adventures that families have had onboard during the year.
Each of the houseboats comes with their own dinghy for your added enjoyment. You can have fun navigating into the upper reaches of the rivers or dinghy into shore to explore the pathways across to view the Southern Ocean at Shelly and Circus beaches.
Break Away is the newest boat in the fleet. She was commissioned in October 2004. As with our other vessels, she has been designed with the aim of maximising living space for a comfortable stay.
Break Away features a double bed room and a bunk-bed room. As with the Hide Away, there is a double divan which folds out to another double bed.
Rob and the family had great fun building her and we hope you get as much enjoyment out of her use as we have in watching her moving around the inlet system.

The Hide Away is the largest boat in the fleet. It is often considered the "party boat" and has enjoyed many a family and friends Christmas and New Year celebration. Like all the boats, it is designed to maximise the living space on board.
It features two bunk rooms, a double bed room and two double divans in the living area. The double divans can be curtained off to provide privacy for sleeping and during the day can be stowed away to provide two comfortable couches in the lounge room area.
