Tanah Marah is located just 10 minutes from Margaret River in WA, but once you head off Bussell Highway you could be a world away from anywhere. Tanah Marah sits in the middle of 350 acres of beautiful lake, forest, bushland and farmland.
Accommodation is provided in six lakeside chalets. The chalets are well appointed, stylish and recently renovated. All chalets are made of rammed earth and have two bedrooms with large en-suite bathrooms. The beds are luxurious and can be configured to king size, or 2 long single beds. There is plenty of space if an extra bed is required. The kitchens have Cesarstone benchtops, dishwashers and European ovens and induction cooktops. The sitting areas have leather couches and large televisions. One chalet is wheelchair accessible. The rooms are spacious and all lead to a terrace overlooking the lake.
Tanah Marah offers so many opportunities to both relax and to be active - it is heavily wooded with karri, jarrah and marri forest and features many beautiful pathways through bushland and next to the lake and the Bramley Brook. There are 2 plexipave tennis courts and a 9 hole golf course. Sheep and horses and kangaroos graze in paddocks next to the accommodation. The sheep love being hand fed, and the two resident border collies love attention from guests! Winter is an ideal time to go for long walks, or warm up by the outside fire pit at night, and in summer the lake offers lots of fun in the water, or in our boat, canoes or paddleboard.
Tanah Marah features a function area and commercial kitchen that make it ideal for weddings, corporate events, family get togethers or any group gathering. All the chalets can be let out for exclusive use of the property by one group.
