Woodlands of Bridgetown is a gracious, historic home nestled amongst the rolling hills and picturesque farmland of Bridgetown. It is a rare find, a rural retreat that captures the ambience of a bygone era and genuine country hospitality.
Established in 1894 beside the Geegelup Brook, the white-washed homestead and fragrant cottage gardens are the proud legacy of the Doust family, pioneers who sailed from England with dreams and visions of a new world and new beginnings.
With an eye for detail, the current proprietors, Bruce and Phyl Howatson, have extensively renovated the homestead and now invite you to enjoy the elegance of yesteryear - Woodlands of Bridgetown, luxury bed and breakfast accommodation.
Woodlands features two beautiful queen guest rooms, a hearty home-cooked breakfast and a cosy, antique-furnished sitting room. The grounds include a gazebo, grazing cattle, abundant birdlife and recreational tennis court with lights for evening games. Surrounding the home are gardens filled with colourful blooms of roses, azaleas and camellias.
Indulge yourself, take a step back in time!
