Golden Valley Tree Park

The beautiful Golden Valley Tree Park is also a must see destination and a beautiful place for a walk. A sixty hectare landscaped park set in the picturesque hills of Balingup. The heritage listed site has a collection of trees that was begun over one hundred years ago, and is now the largest arboretum in WA.

Balingup Medieval Festival

One of the quirkiest is the Balingup Medieval Carnivale, held in August every year. Everyone is encouraged to dress in medieval-themed costume to enhance the experience. Each year the festival kicks off with a gluttonous feast and then continues with music, dance, a parade and games, all in medieval style.
