Face the Day – Angels Tribute – Live at the Crown

Don’t miss this high-octane tribute to one of the country’s most beloved rock groups, the Angels.

Hailing from Perth, Face The Day delivers authentic renditions of the band’s timeless hits.

With frontman Rod Taylor leading the charge, the band channels the unmistakable grit and charisma of The Angels’ original vocalist, Doc Neeson. The guitar work of Pete Chapman and Craig Janes captures the signature riffs and solos of Rick and John Brewster, while the thunderous rhythm section of bassist Justin Gibson and drummer Trev Gaynor lay down the foundation for the band’s powerhouse sound.

From the classic anthem “Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again” to the blues-infused “No Secrets”, Face The Day’s setlist is a journey through The Angels’ most iconic songs.

They also pay tribute to the band’s legendary live shows with electrifying renditions of “Take a Long Line” and “Shadow Boxer”.

Face The Day is not just a tribute band, but a celebration of Australian rock ‘n’ roll and the enduring legacy of The Angels.

Kicking off at 8pm on the beer garden stage.
