Pelicans At Denmark
Set amongst giant karri trees of the Great Southern alongside the Wilson Inlet in Denmark, Western Australia, Pelicans at Denmark offers a unique tree house getaway to couples seeking a luxurious experience in either a romantic cottage or a stylish modern chalet.

Perhaps it is not one difference that sets us apart, (such as the proximity of giant karri trees, water, world class bike and walking trails) but rather our uniqueness comes from a combination of attributes: location, property design, ambiance, environment, unique flora and fauna and of course those ever present pelicans.  All  within 2.8 km from Denmark town and a five minute drive to wineries, beaches and  local country club.

This boutique, multi award winning, 4.5 star rated  business has galvanised its position as a high-end accommodation provider building an enviable reputation through commitment to customer satisfaction, truth in advertising, quality management, and attention to detail.

Our properties feature giant karris (estimated to be around 50 years of age growing within a few metres of the high water mark and blending with native foreshore vegetation. This environment attracts sea, marsh and land birds with one repeat guest having logged 59 bird species.  The Wilson Inlet itself is one of the largest inlets in Western Australia measuring some 20 kms from Ocean Beach to the mouth of the Sleeman River.

Pelicans is located within 200 metres of the world renowned Bibbulmun track and a two minute bike ride to the Munda Biddi trail (at over 1000 km – the longest bike track of its kind in the world).  The Denmark River mouth on Inlet Drive (where the Denmark River flows into the Wilson Inlet) is a five minute stroll. Here the Bibbulmun Track, the Heritage Rail Trail and Mokare Trail intersect adding another dimension for guests staying with us.
