Art Exhibition @ BRAG: The Greek Paintings by Col Jordan

Step into the vibrant world of The Greek Paintings by hard-edge painter Col Jordan. This exhibition is on show at BRAG until 17 September 2023.

In the 1960s Col Jordan was one of a small group of young artists who introduced hard edge optical painting to Australia. BRAG is excited to work collaboratively with Perth gallery, Mossenson Galleries to present his latest body of work, The Greek Paintings, for the first time.

The exhibition presents a series of twenty-four paintings, each work taking the anglicised name of a letter from the ancient Greek alphabet and from these letter shapes producing an abstract composition
