Oysters & Riesling at Howard Park

Oysters & Riesling at Howard Park

06 - 07 January 2024
543 Miamup Road, Cowaramup WA
Howard Park Cellar Door’s signature outdoor event, Oysters & Riesling, is back!

Now in its 10th year, the summer weekend is always circled on the calendar by locals and visitors alike for celebrating one of the culinary world’s most decadent pairings. Citrusy, crisp Rieslings with salty, rich Australian oysters will be the stars of the show from 12pm to 4pm on Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th January.

At this steamy time of year, the winery grounds turn into an oasis of greenery – lush vines & cool shady lawn – for an afternoon of relaxing and unwinding with delicious seafood and perfectly chilled wine.

Our friends from Get Pickled & Get Shucked will have the oyster bar up and shucking, while local favourites Little Hand Dumplings and Mai Tardi Gelato will be here with everything you need for a long and lazy picnic. And the day wouldn’t be complete without Margaret River’s very own DJ Erik returning to spin chilled-out tunes.

As for Riesling? Expect the usual selection of renowned classics from Howard Park as well as some cracking back vintages brought out from our museum cellar for the occasion. Bring your friends, a picnic rug or camping chair, borrow a bocce set and lay back on the lawns to while away a summer afternoon.
