Southern Peaks

The Southern Peaks is an annual event which draws riders from around the state to participate in a weekend of competition, fun and festivities.

A number of events are on offer over the weekend, catering for a wide range of abilities and ages, including; Southern Bus Charters Albany Urban Downhill, a spectators’ favourite and an event which receives statewide media coverage; Southern Peaks Make Smoking History XCM – a point-to-point mass participation cross country event which runs along the rugged Southern Coast providing unmatched coastal outlooks; Bobs Bikes Jump Fest – Mountain Bike and BMX-inspired high pitch ramps allowing for maximum vertical aerial maneuvers -a great opportunity for everyone to gather at the event village for a night of entertainment!; Impusle Cycles Kids Urban – entry level mountain bike event for kids aged between 5-13 years encouraging kids to take part in the sport.

An Event Village will be set up on Stirling Terrace acting as a spectator hub for the Downhill and Kids’ races as well as the finish line for the Southern Peaks and Downhill races.

A mixture of DJs and live music, food stalls, bars, local coffee vans and other live entertainment will be on offer, creating a real hub of entertainment.
