We are open for you to visit our piece of Margaret River paradise between 10.30-5pm daily. Bookings for our guided tasting experiences are essential via our website.

TASTING ROOM

Passel Estate’s Tasting Room is a wonderful place to begin your Margaret River wine tasting journey.

JAMES HALLIDAY 5-STAR WINERY

The contemporary Tasting Room features floor to ceiling glass on three sides so that visitors are immediately connected with the surrounding vines and bushland conservation sanctuary.  Stone walls and stunning timbers are used throughout, sourced from the estate wherever possible.  The building is beautifully appointed and sets the scene for a unique, high end and wholly authentic wine tasting experience.

In addition to the numerous accolades received for individual wines in the portfolio, the Estate has been awarded 5-star winery status by James Halliday, included in The Real Review Top Wineries of Australia and winner of Best Tasting Experience and Best Small Cellar Door in Margaret River by Gourmet Traveller Wine Magazine.

Provenance relates to the physical location of this very small, family owned estate in the heart of Margaret River, the great earth in which the vines grow and the maturity of the vines themselves. Discovery is all about the very small quantities produced and the unique Tasting Room experience on offer. Sanctuary relates to the natural bushland surrounds, comprising some of the oldest peppermint trees in the region (as well as jarrah, marri and grass trees). A family (or Passel) of endangered Western Ringtail Possums was relocated here following the 2011 Margaret River bushfires, and the owners continue to support and provide sanctuary to endangered native species within the estate.

Booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
