Harris River Estate

Harris River Estate

Locally crafted wines, beer and infused gins as well as accommodation and events hosting.
When you enter Harris River Estate, you enter into a world that will stimulate your senses on every level. From the TASTE of our Award winning wines and ‘Partners In Crime’ brews, to SEEING our beautiful bushland and experiencing the rustic charm of our unique cellar door; to HEARING from our top Australian trainers and facilitators and to the FEEL of just ‘being’ with family and friends.

Enjoy complementary wine tasting or enjoy our brews at Cellar door Wednesday to Sunday 12pm- 3.30pm. We also have a light tapas/ cheese board menu, using estate grown fresh produce and local ingredients. If drinking isn’t your forte then we offer barista made coffee or fabulous milkshakes.

Established in 2000, Harris River Estate is a single vineyard producer growing grape varieties; Merlot, Shiraz, Chardonnay, Viognier, Verdelho and Cabernet Sauvignon. We achieved our first gold medals at the Qantas Wine Show in 2008 for our 2007 Verdelho & 2007 Chardonnay, and were also awarded the high accolade of a 5 Star Rating by James Halliday in 2008. The Australian Wine Show in 2015 awarded us with a Gold medal for our 2013 Cabernet Merlot and High Silvers for our 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon and 2013 Shiraz. In 2019 we won two golds (Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 and Cabernet Merlot 2015) and two silvers (Viognier 2017 and Shiraz 2015) from the Wine showcase Magazine. This Magazine is circulated throughout the US, Asia Pacific and Europe and we are delighted with the results.

In 2015 we released our first ‘Partners in Crime’ brews from our microbrewery and cidery. Bowled over larger, Better the Devil you know and Black Diamond have become our very popular “home brews”. Rivercide semi dry cider a favourite for cider drinkers.

We will help create an exquisite day that you and your guests will cherish. The Estate can be set up to accommodate your entire day including ceremony, pre-dinner drinks and sit down reception.
For smaller functions we can offer our famous Paella. Authentically cooked on display this crowd pleaser is a winner.

We have a fantastic stimulating learning environment that will enable you and your team to be fully engaged in your particular event. Whether it is a short meeting or a two day training event, we assure you that we can provide the right context for you to achieve.

With two fully self contained Chalets (sleeping up to 7) over looking our vines and waterways, Harris River Estate has your holiday covered. Beautifully secluded amongst bushland, 200 meters away from our cellar door they are perfect for a romantic getaway or a family vacation.

Harris River Estate is minutes ride/walk away from the famous “Ray’s Trail” and “Dead Cats Trail” voted in the top 10 bike trails in Australia, great for the adventurer!
