The long-house design draws inspiration from the local farm sheds and fishing shacks, its architectonic form sitting discretely within the coastal landscape. The carefully detailed use of raw materials such as corrugated iron, timber and concrete to both internal and external spaces, creates a relaxed and comfortable cabin feel.
Located on spectacular Point Henry Peninsula, adjacent to Bremer Bay, Native Dog Cabin is situated on fifteen acres of pristine coastal bushland just 650m above its namesake Native Dog Beach, and features private uninterrupted views over Dillon Bay and the Southern Ocean, and west across to the Stirling Ranges. A short walk to the coast are Blossoms Beach and Native Dog Beach, two of the best swimming and surf beaches in the area. A five minute drive to Bremer Bay will bring you to a selection of places to eat and drink, as well as other town amenities. The home provides a perfect spring-board for exploring the south coast of Western Australia, with numerous beaches, national parks, walking trails and other local attractions all within easy reach.
