Shady peppermint trees provide sheltered camping for families to enjoy as well as a playground area for the kids. Campers kitchen to enjoy a family BBQ while only a short walk from the beautiful sunsets.

Meet the Hamelin Bay Sting Rays

If you wander down to the old jetty or boat ramp at Hamelin Bay, you will notice black shadows moving through the water close to shore. Don’t panic, they are just the stingrays who have become somewhat of a tourist attraction!

The stingrays always have hungry tummies and they just love a feed of fresh fish (no bait please). They can be seen most days during summer and occassionally during the winter months.
